I would just like to say thanks to all who came over and enjoyed the festivities of the Su-per Bowl with me....it truly was an amazing, yet saddening, day.

| Well, let's start by saying Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!
It's ashame that we aren't as thankful as we should be all the time, but I love this holiday because it does remind us to be thankful for all the wonderful gifts God has given to us. God surely has blessed us beyond measure, and we can strive to bless Him in return, and thanking Him is one way of doing just that. Let God know that you are thankful, for both big things (gRANDE size) and small (less than gRANDE size). Don't take anything for granted. And now, my top 14 things that I am thankful for:
1. A Beautiful Savior
2. the best family ever (and don't say it's not... my dad will beat up your dad)
3. Spiritual wake-up calls and kicks in the pants
4. an amazing group of friends (you know who you are)
5. Sports (though mainly soccer, basketball, and football)
6. Opera, Hip-Hop, and G.Love
7. the most awesome roommate imaginable (he's a pilot, and a nice guy)
8. America (heck yeah)
9. an over-provided for life
10. a church that loves to love God and others (do it Grace Assembly)
11. challenges (to do what we want to do, but don't think we can)
12. unpredictability (it's always a new adventure)
13. deodorant/soap (because seriously, this world would stink without it)
14. 14 (it's so beautiful, isn't it?)
That's not a complete list, but it's 3 A.M. and that's what i thought of first. make your own list... it'll be good for you to ponder. In closing, have a fabulous holiday, and for those on break, continue to enjoy these next few days. Praise the Lord,

| i'm the gRANDE, hear me roar...
well, my EAGLES are the lone undefeated team in the NFL, and i must say another close one....highlight of the game, T.O. doing his Ray Lewis impersonation after his TD. nice, T.O., nice.
i must also give a shout out to Alvarez for beating some dudes tail at his hockey game on thursday night... he was straight on top of this dude, pounding his face... it was sweet (they won 6-1 as well)
in other news, the LU football game, and the whole halloween season for that matter, was ruined this weekend, and i would throw the blame entirely on the warm, 70 degree temperatures out there... no one wants to watch a football game on october 30 and get sunburn (which i did... i'm so pale)
this week, i'm looking forward to:
- possibly hearing some good news about a job?
- seeing a quality horror movie hopefully?
- something exciting happening at the bank (ahahhahahahah)?
- seeing the NBA season kickoff
well, another week down, and the gRANDE is loving life... don't you?

| Let's talk about mixed emotions today, shall we?
I am overjoyed that my E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES, won today over the browns, even though it took them overtime and a 50 yd field goal from "green akers" to do it. It shouldn't have been that difficult, but overall, it's the best start for the eagles since 1981, the year before i was born, which means they're going to win it all this year. i love my logic.
However, in an day filled with sports, there can no doubt be upsets, but why this day I ask myself. My Arsenal Gunners (english premier league) lost their first premier league game in 50 tries, and to ManUnited. It hurts to see such an amazing team lose to such an unskilled team as they did, but 49 wins in a row is quite a run, and they'll no doubt get it started again this wednesday. Go Gunners!

| the life and times of gRANDE the XIV... well what can i say. since this is the first post, i'll give a brief overview of myself so you will all feel right at home with me.
Jesus is my Savior (and my best friend), i love the number 14, i like sports (especially basketball, european soccer, and football), i enjoy opera music, hip-hop, and G.Love (don't give me any crap about it either), i miss my friends from LU who have moved away (or got married), my roomate, the squatting hamster, is one of the most hilariously random persons in the world and living together is a blast (though we hate to shop for more than 1 hour), i cry myself to sleep everynight (i'm single), i work at Wachovia (it's not what i want to do, it pays the bills), i like food a lot, sleep a little, and did i mention i love the number 14?
